Who's checking in
The Vice President is coming, along with his Secret Service agents, his daughter…and oh yeah, a reporter who happens to be his mistress. Plus, pro surfer Trey Chase is back on the island. Gabriel is thrilled, but Frankie and Jason are apprehensive - Trey is MJ's evil ex.

Disappointments
Emily, the vice presidential offspring, is looking forward to some father-daughter bonding, but her dad got delayed. Vincent wants to make sure the Vice President's stay is absolutely perfect, so he assigns Nicole to baby-sit Emily. Tessa informs him Nicole is taking the day off to be with Morgan. Not anymore. Meanwhile, Gabriel is getting in some surf time when he meets Trey, one of his idols. This makes him late for work, and Jason tells him he won't tolerate any more screw-ups. Gabriel yells that Jason is just coming down on him because he's upset about Nicole and Morgan.

Entertaining Emily
Emily doesn't want a babysitter, but Nicole impresses her with tales of the rock stars who've stayed at the hotel. She introduces Emily to Chris and Gabriel, and Emily seems quite charmed by the lifeguard. He invites her to the Surf Shack that evening, but it's a no go - her security detail would never allow it. When Nicole is called away, Emily wanders over to Jason in search of amusement. Instead, she finds her dad's mistress, and pushes her into the ocean. The security guys tell Jason he saw nothing. Vincent tells Jason to take the rest of the day off.

Espionage
Vincent is still worried about what Morgan is doing, and he gives Jason the go-ahead to do a little spying. Jason "just happens" to run into Morgan at the golf course, and lies that he might be interested in working for Nicole's dad. Morgan says they should talk about this someplace more businesslike - like a strip club. Jason gets disgusted when Morgan hires himself a lap dance and storms out.

The Ex-Files
Trey apologizes to MJ for being a schmuck, and wants to make it up to her. She says no -she's got a great boyfriend. But what the hell, they can get together - strictly as friends. They seem to be getting a little more than friendly when Frankie walks in on them at the house. Frankie lectures MJ not to be fall for Trey again, and tells her Chris is waiting for her at the Surf Shack. She tells Trey to get lost, but he doesn't want to take no for an answer. She ends up pushing him over the railing and going off to meet Chris.

Guest Relations
Emily is not a happy bunny. Nicole tries to make her comfortable by booking her a massage and facial, but it's not working. When Nicole gets called away, Tessa comes in. She offers to help Emily ditch her security detail. She manages to sneak Emily out of the hotel and send her to the Surf Shack to meet Gabriel. He's not there, but Chris is. He offers to take her to Waikiki to look for Gabriel. MJ sees them drive away, and assumes they're hooking up.

Cherchez la Femme
The security guys accuse Nicole of helping Emily escape. Tessa does nothing to dissuade them. She runs into MJ, who tells her about Emily and Chris. Tessa brings this information to Vincent, who thinks she's being a good soldier. Gabriel and Emily end up at a nightclub with a wet t-shirt contest. A drunken Emily decides she'll get back at her dad by becoming tabloid fodder. She sluts it up, but Gabriel drags her off the stage - just as the Secret Service bursts in. They cuff Gabriel for "kidnapping" Emily. Jason threatens to spill all the Vice President's secrets to the press if they don't let Gabriel go. They cave.

The aftermath
Jason admits he was taking his frustration out on Gabriel, and promises to support him in his surfing career. Gabriel tells MJ that Emily was with him, not Chris, last night. MJ is so happy that she makes out with Chris on the beach, as Trey watches. Emily tells Nicole that Tessa helped her escape last night, and Nicole confronts Tessa. Morgan pre-empts Jason, telling Nicole he was at a strip club, but saying it made him realize how lucky he was to have Nicole. He loves her so much that he wants to elope with her right now.
